Fred Putnam discovered the Serpent Mound next to Brush Creek in Adams County Ohio in 1883. The builders of the mound were unknown. There are thousands of these mounds scattered across the eastern half of the United States. A popular theory about the builders was that they were a migrating group of super beings that were improving their skills as they moved southward. Their building skill climaxed in Mexico with the Aztec pyramids.
The Serpent Mound is 0.45 miles long. If 5 archiologists search its length for clues about the builders, how much of the serpent will each arhiologist have to search? Include a zero in the ones place in your answer.
